Novel reactor for electrically assisted photocatalysis

Designs a new type EAP reactor which arranging the anode and cathode as two concentric cylinders with different radius. Analyses the influence of volts d. c., the arrangement of electrodes, the hydraulic detention time(HRT), the reactor radius and its height, and the structural factor. The results show that the new type reactor could degrade benzamide efficiently. The removal efficiency of benzamide can be as high as 95% when the radius of the EAP reactor is 3.5 centimeter,the HRT is 120 minutes and the volts d. c. is 1.016 volts.
